Bicycle is the brand you can trust.and what they call "Air-Cushion finish" is a great improvement, cards feel very soft in hands. I'd recommend them to all card lovers. Bicycle playing cards are amazing. I love them.
And the small indexes make it a lot easier to trick someone into thinking you've got a heart rather than a diamond or a queen rather than an 8. Problem is, they're a pain in the butt to cheat with. There's a reason CVS won't let me buy poker chips anymore). And those white borders will screw you up every time when you're trick shuffling.
Well, first off, if you're going to be a magician, you buy Bikes and only Bikes. But, overall, if you're going to clean out your poker buddies, go buy some Bees instead -- with that pattern going straight to the edge, no one will be able to figure out what you're doing as long as you don't fan 'em too wide. The one good thing: the edges do take real nice to a little nick here and there, so you can always find the ace if you need it. Pretty much anything else is gonna look suspicious.
(What can I say. (I know I will, ever since my sister hit me with the restraining order after she caught me cheating at Go Fish with my nephew). In conclusion, good cards, but if your friends are smart they'll buy some Bicycle Prestiges or plastic Copags. They fan and slide around real nice like and shuffle like a dream. They ain't the most durable things in the world, but they'll do. There's not enough really little detail on the card backs, so you can't mark 'em the way you want and hope to get away with it.
They have large easy to read numbers and the coating on the cards makes them easy to shuffel and deal. I live in an apartment house for Seniors and use one of the decks of cards that I got daily.
Easy to shuffle, deal, hold For how inexpensive these are, they are a great value.
You can never go wrong with Bicycle cards, I highly recommend these cards. I bought these a while back and they've lasted quite a long time. I use them mainly for personal magic, just practicing flourishes and whatnot, so I use them quite often.
